Find the constraint that's actually slowing you down

Most leadership teams already have a theory about their bottleneck. This tests it — a structured interview across five factors, scored the same way every time, with every number traced back to something you said.

The scale

Six levels, and you land in one of them

One number from 0 to 100, built from the thirty-six facts the interview collects. It exists so two reports are comparable — the same answers always produce the same score.

Chaos0–20Meetings run the company. Knowledge siloed, work manual and reactive.
Digitized20–40SaaS tools, docs, dashboards. Still entirely people-driven.
Connected40–60Goals aligned, knowledge searchable, managers working from data.
Augmented60–80Copilots and continuous feedback. Humans still own execution.
Agentic80–95Autonomous agents, self-healing workflows, continuous optimisation.
Singularity95–100Memory never lost, work orchestrated automatically, learning continuous.

The number matters far less than which of the five factors is holding it down. That is what the rest of the report is about.

What is measured

Five factors,
thirty-six facts

Not a personality test and not a maturity quiz. Each theme asks for a small number of concrete facts about how work actually moves through your company. Where the evidence is thin, the report says so instead of filling the gap.

The process

A conversation, not a form

01  /  Answering

Type it, dictate it, or just talk

Three ways in, and you can switch mid-answer. Dictate into the box and edit before you send, or open the hands-free conversation — the microphone opens itself for each question and ends the turn when you stop speaking. Every question also carries ready-made answers you can tap.

Skip is on every question. Skipped points are excluded from scoring rather than counted against you.

02

It pushes back when an answer is thin

“We're pretty quick” is not something a scorer can use. One targeted follow-up asks for the mechanism, the cadence or the number behind it — then moves on rather than interrogating you.

03

You confirm what was heard

At the end of each area you get a summary in your own words. Correct it there, before anything is scored — not after reading something you never said in a finished report.

04

Two passes score it

Every score has to point at something you actually said. A second pass re-scores the evidence independently, and where the two disagree the report lowers its confidence rather than quietly picking a winner.

A report that
shows its working

Around twenty pages, on screen and as a PDF. Every figure traces to a sentence from the interview — where a claim cannot be grounded in something you said, it does not get printed.

Autonomy

Nearly every exception still routes to a named person before it can move, and it is the same person each time. Throughput is capped by one calendar.

“Anything over about five thousand comes to me. It's maybe twenty a week, and I'm the bottleneck on all of them.”

Scored from 4 of 4 evidence points. Verifier agreed.

Questions

Before you spend the time

How long does it really take?
Most people finish in half an hour or so; a thorough answer to everything can run to forty minutes. You do not have to do it in one sitting — stop at any point and we email you a link straight back to where you were.
What does it cost?
Nothing, and there is no card to enter. You get the full report whether or not you ever speak to us. If the roadmap is useful and you want help executing it, that is a separate conversation you are free never to have.
Do I have to answer everything?
No. Skip is on every question, and skipped points are excluded from scoring rather than counted against you — though enough skips in one area will leave that factor unscored, and the report will say which.
Can I answer by speaking?
Yes, two ways. Dictate into the box and edit the text before you send it, or open the hands-free conversation, where the microphone opens itself for each question and ends the turn when you stop talking. Nothing is ever submitted without you confirming it.
Isn't this just my own view of the company?
Largely, yes — and that is worth knowing before you start rather than after. You are describing your organisation from where you sit, and someone two levels down would describe a different one. Nothing connects to your repositories, tickets or calendars; it is an interview and it inherits the limits of one. What it does guarantee is consistency — the same answers always produce the same score, so two reports are comparable even when both are partial.
What won't the roadmap tell me?
It sequences what the evidence supports. It does not know your budget, your politics, or what you tried last year and abandoned. And where an area never got enough concrete detail, that factor is left unscored and excluded from the index rather than guessed at — the report says so on its first page instead of quietly filling the gap.
Who sees what I say?
Your answers are processed to produce your report and are not shared with other customers. The full list of what is collected and which providers process it is on the privacy page — written from the code rather than from a template.
How is the score calculated?
Each of the 36 points is graded against a fixed rubric, rolled up per theme and factor, then combined into one index from 0 to 100. The same answers always produce the same score, and an unscored factor is excluded from the mean rather than treated as a zero.

Worth half an hour to find out?

You get the full report either way. If the constraint it names is one you already suspected, at least now you have the evidence for the conversation.
